Jill has spent most of her career working in the non-profit field, primarily in finance, accounting, operations and human resources. She served as the Director of Finance and Administration for the American Association of Orthodontics. Jill has also held volunteer and leadership positions with several organizations focused on supporting women and families and is currently a board member for Women’s Funding Network.

Jill is currently the Chief Finance and Administrative Officer for Missouri Foundation for Health. In addition to overseeing all finance and operational functions of the organization, Jill works collaboratively with organizations throughout the state and country to develop and implement strategies addressing the social determinants of health. Jill is also leads the socially responsible investment of the Foundations $1.2 billion portfolio and the implementation of policies which create an equitable, diverse and effective Foundation workforce.

Dr. Michael Goldstein has been practicing orthodontics for 18 years. He is passionate about creating confidence through smiles, being involved in the local community and having some fun while doing it!

He attended the University of Oregon for his undergraduate degree, Oregon Health & Science University for dental school, and received his Certificate in Orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Goldstein is dual board-certified by both the Canadian and American Board of Orthodontists. He has been actively involved in the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and is currently on the executive board of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Sharon Nguyen has been practicing orthodontics for over 10 years. She is passionate about enhancing smiles and improving self-confidence in her multicultural community.

Dr. Nguyen attended McGill University for dental school and Jacksonville University School of Graduate Orthodontics for her Certificate in Orthodontics. She also holds a Master in Business Administration from McGill University.

She is a member of the Canadian, American, and Ontario Association of Orthodontists, and holds a fellowship at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Paul completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Western University and a dental degree at McGill. He then practiced dentistry as a captain in the Canadian Armed Forces, before earning his Master of Science and Certificate of Orthodontics at the University of Iowa. Paul has lived and worked in private practice on Vancouver Island for over 25 years.

Paul is a consultant orthodontist on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies Team at B.C. Children’s Hospital and a clinical assistant professor in the Graduate Orthodontic program at the University of British Columbia. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, an examiner for the RCDC, and is a member of the Edward H. Angle Society.

Alan has spent the majority of his career in roles across the healthcare industry, including five years as CEO of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, 18 years in executive positions at MDS Diagnostics and MDS Laboratories, two years as COO at Revera, and five years as Chair at Extendicare. He also served as President and CEO of LifeWorks (formerly known as Morneau Shepell) for over 11 years. Alan is a corporate governance expert, with a demonstrated record of success serving boards in both high-growth environments and executing turnarounds. He is also a practiced CEO mentor, having filled this role at multiple private equity-backed portfolio companies.

He has served as Chair at Trillium Health Partners, a hospital network serving Mississauga and western Toronto, and currently serves as Chair at Green Shield Canada, a not-for-profit benefits carrier providing drug, dental, extended healthcare, vision, hospital and travel benefits for groups and individuals, and at Extendicare, a for-profit long-term care provider.

Chris brings a wealth of healthcare experience, having worked in pharmacy retail for over 28 years. Most recently, Chris served as President, CEO, and board member for Neighbourly Pharmacy. He led the company’s growth from its early stages to becoming the third-largest national retail pharmacy network in Canada. Under his leadership, Neighbourly grew over 600% through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth, and now has nearly 300 locations across Canada. Chris also guided the company through its initial public offering in 2021 and continues to provide support and counsel as Strategic Advisor.

Chris also spent 23 years at Shoppers Drug Mart in various leadership positions overseeing merchandising, district operations, and optimization projects, with his last role being Vice President of National Operations.

Dr. Lesley Williams has been practicing orthodontics for over 25 years. She is passionate about leadership, governance, and the future of the specialty of orthodontics.

She attended the University of British Columbia for dental school and the University of Alberta for her Master of Science in Orthodontics.

Dr. Williams is a past Chief Examiner and current Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also an active member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Warren Cohen has been practicing orthodontics in Calgary, Alberta for over 20 years. He is passionate about the incorporation of digital technology into clinical treatment, practice operations and collaboration.

He attended the University of Toronto for dentistry and the University of Manitoba for his Master of Science in Orthodontics.

Dr. Cohen is a member of the Canadian and American Associations of Orthodontists, the Alpha Omega International Dental Society, as well as various study clubs. He is a past president of the Alberta Society of Orthodontists and is an assistant professor at the University of Manitoba.

Brent Houlden is a corporate director, advisor, and experienced strategist. He has spent most of his career consulting in strategy and operations, and as a financial advisor on urgent business critical transactions. After retiring in 2014 as senior partner at Deloitte, Brent held various executive roles including CEO of Dealnet Capital and CFO of Danier Leather. Brent currently serves on the board and audit committees of Extendicare and Mount Pleasant Group of Cemeteries. Previously, he served on various other boards including Deloitte for six years and was the Chair of the University of Toronto Press.

Brent is a CPA, CA and LIT, and holds an MBA from Queens University and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Dr. Shawn Russett has been practicing orthodontics for over 15 years. He is passionate about advancements in 3D modeling and the development of new aspects of digital workflow and clinical efficiency.

He attended the University of Alberta for both dental school and for his Master of Science in Orthodontics.

Dr. Russett is a member of the Canadian and Alberta Associations of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
